It is a unit that is composed of members of the International Legion of Ukraine and Ukrainian members of the Ministry of Defense. The unit falls under the military intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, but its tasks are more likely to be reconnaissance and offensive actions in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Often, the unit is assigned to a certain section of the front to carry out offensive or special actions in favor of other brigades of the regular army. The unit has a truly diverse selection of members, from American war veterans from special operations, former members of various European armies, to soldiers who have gained training and experience up to a full-fledged invasion in 2022. The company-sized unit is led by a Czech and a Greek, and their success in operations stands out from other units, especially thanks to the experience in the unit, which has been operating together since 2014.
We have so far provided the unit with equipment worth over 700,000 CZK, which mainly consisted of evacuation vehicles, Ecoflow power stations and thermal imaging devices. Thanks to the equipment and support from us, this unit of the HUR squadron is so effective in combat.
