The 503rd Independent Marine Battalion of Ukraine joined the fight to defend their country at the very beginning of the conflict. The unit participated in the defense of Mariupol and in the following months fought in the southern parts of the front.
Their battalion suffered 70% losses during the fighting, so now the unit is mainly made up of newcomers who have replenished the losses from the previous months. After the training that the battalion completed near Mikolajiv, it was moved to perform other combat tasks. Currently, the battalion is engaged in tough battles as part of this year's counter-offensive.
How do we help?
Like many units, the Kherson marines have problems with sufficient supplies. At the beginning of the cooperation, we handed over a Humvee ambulance and medical supplies to the marines. They are very grateful to us for this help.
But the needs of the battalion are much greater. Our help is therefore primarily focused on the acquisition of electric generators, pick-up supply vehicles, night vision devices, thermal imaging, drones, medical supplies and other necessary military equipment.
We hand over the help directly to members of the ZSU, who will use it themselves. We are so sure that help will reach the right places where it is really needed.
