Czech colleagues shared their experience in combating drug trafficking
As part of the cooperation between the Team for Ukraine project manager Petro Poyman and Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, a roundtable discussion on combating drug trafficking and the negative impact of drug mafia on society was held on 28 August. During the event, the Czech and Ukrainian sides exchanged experience in this area. The Czech delegation included Petr Pojman, head of the Team for Ukraine project, and Esther Dorta, an expert from the University of Salamanca of the Criminological Association of the Czech Republic. From the Ukrainian side, the roundtable was attended by the Dean of Faculty No. 1 Oleksii Avramenko, Dean of Faculty No. 2 Ivan Krasnitskyi, Dean of Faculty No. 3 Stepan Hnatiuk, Head of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities Andrii Babiak, Head of the Department of Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure Danylo Yosyfovych, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure Andrii Khytra, Acting Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology Oleksii Paseka, Head of the Department of International Relations Vasyl Franchuk and a consultant on chemical dependency of the International Centre for Drug Addiction.
