Russian troops blew up the dam of the Nová Kakhovka hydropower plant in the Kherson region.
Team 4 Ukraine Kherson immediately got involved in rescue work in the area as much as possible. They focused on the delivery and distribution of humanitarian aid, the evacuation of people and animals from flooded areas.
We immediately launched a fundraiser for the purchase of a boat with a motor so that their work would be easier. The money was collected very quickly and we sent it to our Ukrainian volunteers.
